In reply to: Child page font is slightly larger than parent font in sidebarWeird, it appears to have fixed things in MY IE8 browser, but when I open it on another computer, it looks the same as it did before. Also, if I open it in Chrome or Firefox, it looks the same as before.

In reply to: Child page font is slightly larger than parent font in sidebarThanks a bunch. That put me in the right spot. I ended up using your second suggestion but I took off the .17 and it all shrunk down a bit which works great. The font sizes now match.

In reply to: Several static pages and a blog sectionI keep finding soooo many people that want this same feature. Add a page, blog to that page. I kind of assumed that WP worked like that but then I added some pages and found that I couldn’t “blog” to them. All I could do was add info statically and edit that same info. Anyone with ideas?

In reply to: Making posts on other pages then the main pageI know this is an old post but it has no resolution. I am hoping someone has an answer on how to make each page blogable. Are there any plugins that can make this happen? Maybe a simple drop down or radio button while writing a new post that lets you choose which page to post to? Any help would be appreciated.

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemHere is the file:
Unzip that and upload it to that same directory on your blog and you should be up and running.

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemCould it have something to do with the size of the image? Perhaps when I tried it out before, it was with a smaller image and therefore, the only size option available was FULL SIZE as it was already close to or smaller than the THUMBNAIL size. I tried it with a little bit larger image and I had the thumbnail and medium and fullsize option availabe but not large. So, it may be working, it just doesn’t give you any option if that particular option doesn’t make sense.

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemI found the issue was mod_security in my case. Still working on tracking down the exact rule.
What was the mod_security a fix for? The original problem or being unable to set the size of the images? And, if it is for the inability to set the size, how do you go about editing or fixing that?

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemWow, same issue here. I can see the upload files button, I can upload an image but I can’t choose the size. Have you found a fix for that yet?

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemAccording to this blog Ryan Boren from one of the developers, it thanks a lot of people and says thanks to “Austin for the many bug fixes and for getting the flash uploader working with Flash 10.”
So, they say it should work with Flash 10. Anyway, hopefully someone will know of a fix soon.

In reply to: 2.7 Flash Uploader ProblemI just upgraded to 2.7 also and am having the exact same problem. Next to “Choose files to upload” there should be a button to upload files. It is not there. That picture you posted might as well have been from my computer because mine is exactly the same. I still have Flash version 9.0.124.0. Everything worked fine with wordpress 2.6.5 but now I don’t get the upload button in IE7 nor Firefox. Please help. Uploading pictures one at a time is just so……old fashioned.
Everything else appears to be fine.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Post ControlSo, nobody knows of an existing plugin that can accomplish this? I guess that’s my whole point then. We need this integrated into the core (or a darn good plugin for it that doesn’t break when WordPress gets updated).
