Suggestion: neat plugin but can I suggest updating the description to better explain what it actually does :-). From above I understand it actually randomly displays a different thumbnail image each time a post is displayed.

I’m pretty sure auto doesn’t minify any external scripts. You shouldn’t include external scripts such as fonts, analytics or ad scripts. They are already optimised and should be faster delivered from their original source. Some rely on being delivered by the original source or they won’t work.

If auto stops ads working, it’s probably because you have a conflict between javascript files. With manual you can adjust the order scripts are loaded, and where in the page they are loaded (head/foot etc) to get them working. Also turn off line break removal for js.

Seen the same thing here – appears to be pages only as you say (+ homepage), not posts. Also on 4.7.1.

That would be the way – but infolinks_main.js is not on your website, it’s on infolinks website, so W3TC is not minifying that (it’s being minified by them). Do you have an ad blocker installed? Are you using auto minify or manual? (don’t add their script if using manual setting)

We just hit the exact same issue (4.7.1). Did you manage to find a more permanent fix for this?

I had exactly the same issue. The only way I found to resolve it was to go back to v4.5.4.

He is dead. But he hasn’t ever worked for WordPress (as he died in 1971).

You can of course just safely deactivate (and delete) the plugin.

Just tested amending the parent comment (just threading, not post #) from the Admin Comments page.

I get a failure message – but when I reload the comments page, I see it has actually worked despite the error.

So a fix is needed, but it seems useable (unless it fails to move comments between posts which I haven’t tried yet).
