Spookily I’ve just come across the same problem. One of my authors has just changed the date of a past event, to a future date. Ideally I’d like to keep both event listed for future reference.
A way to Copy an existing event, thus giving it a new post ID would be very useful.
Hi Yani,
Is there a way to include/exclude tagged events on output ICS button/link?
The external ICS files that I’ve imported into AIOEC are Tagged i.e. UK-Holidays – so I’d want to exclude the items with this tag from my exporting ICS file.
Is this currently possible?
Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a similar ICS issue.
I want to feed my AIOEC to my personal Google calendar, so I’ve imported the AIOEC .ICS file.
This seems to work well, BUT it includes all the events on my AIOEC, not just ones created in WordPress.
I’ve added a couple of publish ICS into AIOEC, like UK Bank Holidays, but this are then included in the output .ICS – Is there anyway to prevent this so that only events created (not imported) into AIOEC are exported?

In reply to: [Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] – Future events not displayedWhat had happened is that someone had added and event for the 1st Jan, and it was still appearing now.
Upon closer inspection the event is set to last all year with an end date of 31st December 2012.

In reply to: [Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] – Future events not displayedThis seems to be okay now….
Have you tried adding the ICS link from within a single event?
I couldn’t get the calendar view button to work, but from a single event Google loaded my who calendar.
No – not yet. I asked this question a few weeks back just after installing AIOEC. You can set just the next x events – so mine is set to four.
You can also exclude different categories though – which might help.
As a work around for this I have another Plug-In (https://gingerbreaddesign.co.uk/wordpress/widgets-on-pages/) that allows for the sidebar widget appear on a main page. Like this:
https://www.tbscc.co.uk/?page_id=493
The AIOEC widget can then be configured as you wish. In my case the Side Widget only shows my events, but the page version shows all events.
I’ve since upgraded to V1.2 – I don’t know if this is coincidence, but if I click to add to Google calendar button when looking at a single event I don’t get this error message.

I had assumed that by clicking on the button on the indivdual post, that I was just adding a single event, but the “TBS Cycle Club” now appears in my personal Google Calendar, and new events are automatically added.
PS: Now this works, there is one future change/feature request and that would be for the ICS output feed to only include events from the AIOEC and not from other ICS imports. (EG I’ve imported the UK Holiday ICS from Google into my AIOEC. I also have this ICS in my Google Calendar. Now that I have a ICS feed from my own site, these UK Holidays are duplicated.)
Just to add to this. When I upgraded to v1.2 the deleted events only appear in the sidebar widget.
To remove them I just emptied the Trash evetns. Good to know that ti will be bixed though ??
I’ve just upgraded to v1.2, and the Widget is now showing the events from Trash. If you click on a “trash” event you get the 404 error.
I’ve now permanently deleted the Trash and the events have disappeared.
Yes – this is NOW working ??
Just as an update to this; I think the only place you need the php.ini file is in the /YourSiteName/wp-content/plugins folder.
I’ve not managed to plug in the Google ICS for UK Public holidays to my calendar.

PS: Just lovin’ this plugin ??
Hi, I only started using WP a month ago (12th Nov), so 1.1.1 IIRC
but now running 1.1.3
and the folder is event – singular
thanks
(This wouldn’t be related to the URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration) problem I had importing am ICS?
Thank you. I now know that my shared (1and1) server doesn’t allow URL file-access.
To get round this I’ve created a php.ini with the line :
allow_url_fopen = ON
I’ve dropped this in several locations on the server, as some searching has suggested I need a PHP.ini in each folder that wants to do the FILE URL access.
Do you know if this is correct, or while file (folder location) actually needs this URL file access permission?
Many thanks
