Does Photonic actually download the pictures from flickr and saves a copy on my local server when I embed a gallery or a anything from flickr? or will the pictures come straight from flickr itself?

awesome that helped. Yeah I am using classic editor in combination with visual composer. That did the trick. Will I have to use this for all other services as well besides flickr?

I will play a little bit with the settings in the next few days and see if I have any other issues…

One other quick question. When I embed the album it shows me like a header of that album with the album image and name. When I click on it, it will open the actual album on flickr.com. is there a way to have a _blank added to the link?

I created a page and inserted the code via the button you show when creating a new post/page.

went through all the steps. It showed a list of my flickr albums and I selected one which I wanted to display

but nothing is showing up. Thanks for looking into this…

Hmm seems like the devs have given up on fixing it. I guess have to look for a replacement of this plugin.

@hardeepasrani is there any additional information I could provide you to have this issue fixed. I am waiting for a couple of posts to be published but I can’t add the review part to them and therefore, I am stuck.

unfortunately, I still don’t see it. I have Gutenberg deactivated and use WPBakery Page Builder aka Visual Composer.
The tab everyone here is talking about is gone. The one where it says “Is this a review”.

I reinstalled the plugin and nothing. Old posts still show the review at the frontend side but i can’t edit or add a review to new posts.
I have version 3.5.1 installed.

thanks a lot for the help. I got the forward month to work.

I am not good in coding. It looks like the default template I am using is actually the themes default page.php. IT shows the search bar and stuff on top, which I like a lot.

I was able to get rid of the sidebar, but I wasn’t able to stretch the content to full width. There is now an empty space where the sidebar used to be.

If not to much, I would like to ask, how I can change the “view as” font color. It shows by default month in a grayish font on black background. not very good combination. I think that has to be done via CSS?

It seems to work now again. I just did the udpate to yoast 9.5 which just got available to me today. I checked yesterday and the days before. there was no update available for yoast.

It seems we are all good for now. Thanks for the response. Other than that, i am on the latest version of all plugins and wordpress…

same problem again.

The excerpt of all categorie or tag listings is now the text of the author box instead of the actual excerpt of the post.

However the main blog landing page is fine, just category and tag pages show the faulty behavior.

The fix above worked, but you changed the plugin and now I dont have these files anymore. Can you tell me what to edit and can you implement as a future fix. This would spare me from doing it all over again, when you update the plugin…

I did that and it seems it fixed all the issues.

I am doing some testing right now and see if there are any other issues but as of right now I dont see anything.
