Vrunda – awesome!!! ??

The way that works for me to get your code to display properly in Elementor is:

– use Enlighter to enter your code as you normally do
– switch to Text view and copy everything from the opening < pre > to the closing < /pre >, including both < pre > and < /pre >
– paste this into and Elementor HTML widget and away you go … beautifully displayed code within your Elementor page … line numbers and Codegroups too if those were enabled ??

NOTE: I added a space in the pre items so they wouldn’t be parsed ??

Well, it’s really not resolved.

The same site, backups taken one after the other, nothing added, low traffic site so no transients, logs, and as I mentioned, I deleted precious AIOWPM Backups:

AIOWPM 6.81 = 244MB
AIOWPM 6.77 = 176MB
cPanel ZIP (98MB) + SQL dump (5MB) = 103MB (I had the incorrect value in the initial post)

Have your tried: Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > tick the two boxes to use your theme’s fonts and colors > Save Changes

On a site I am working on now, it is like I am using a desktop program. It’s that fast. My login to the WP Dashboard is almost instantaneous and a complex Elementor page is ready to edit in under 5 seconds.

Your issue has nothing to do with Elementor ??

AIOWPM is better suited for the OP as a site rewrite is desired.

Hove you tried All In One WP Migration? This is what I use to do what you are wanting to do. If you are looking to overwrite the existing site with your local update (and vice versa) then AIOWPM is the one to use ??

I went with your suggestion of using RAW or Open in new Window for the code copying by adding a notice to those posts that have code to copy. Should do the trick ??

Here’s what I do to use Pastacode with Elementor:

– create a page or post just for creating Pastacode content
– add your code using it then switch to the Text tab
– copy the generated shortcode
– in Elementor, add a Shortcode widget where you want the code to appear and paste in the shortcode copied above.

Dynamic data is an Elementor Pro feature. This forum is for support for the free version that is available in the WordPress plugin repository.
Log into your Elementor account and submit a support ticket is the best way to go ??

Another suggestion.
If you move to a PC (Windows), install the Laragon local web server.

Then use the All In One WP Migration plugin to move the live site to this local installation.

Live Site:
– install AIOWPM and Export to file

Local:
– install Laragon
– use Laragon’s “Quick Create” to set up a new, local WP install
– install AIOWPM on this install
– import from file
– log out, log in, save permalinks twice
– done ??
