I think that functionality does achieve what I am looking for to a certain degree.

“Showcase” is what I am looking for

examples of the functionality I am looking for would include the carousels on Amazon mobile displaying related products and all.

I am looking for a way to allow smooth scrolling on mobile where once can stop scrolling at any given length and the carousel would stop right there. Unlike the default functionality of this plugin where if you scroll a bit it will automatically scroll all the way to the new page or slider.
