I only have Joost’s SEO plugin installed, and no… deactivating it made no difference.

    Manually overwrote 3.1.2. Problem persisted.

Tried a different browser (same box)… no problem.

Solution? Clear the browser cache in Chrome… now it’s working. But of course, I haven’t re-installed the plugins. We’ll see if it breaks again.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ipstenu. I have tried the above, with no joy: the situation remains the same.

Definitely a PITA, and more than a bit disappointing: I just did a huge brag about how terrific WP is on a webdev list I subscribe to ??

(Oh… and thank you to whomever for moving this thread to the proper location! ?? )

    Further info:

Using a slightly modified copy of the 2010 1.2 template (only mods were those needed to utilize the “Greg’s High Performance SEO” plugin.

Other plugins active are “Akismet” and “Conditional CAPTCHA for WordPress”

Otherwise, this is an out-of-the-box install, and fresh: 3.1.1 was the initial install, and this was the first update.
