I just don’t understand why it’s being forced on us when the block editor default is the opposite. I also don’t think sticky headers are very popular anymore.

However, have just removed the header altogether and used some workarounds to rebuild what was there before.

As for the “new tab” option, I’ve actually did exactly this, since the new block themes allow for an easy change regarding the handling of posts. Meaning, there’s isn’t even a need for a plugin anymore.

However, having them open in the same tab would be the ideal solution.

I’m no coder, but have tried adding in the snippet via WP Code. Unfortunately, that didn’t help.

Also, after the latest update, the issue still seems to persist though.

But no worries. It’s really just an edge case. Feel free to close the ticket.
