Good news. While the dev is still ghosting us, I managed to find a workaround. Just download version 9.2.12 from the bottom of this page here (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/auto-post-thumbnail/advanced/) and then just upload it manually to your WP admin section (via /wp-admin/plugin-install.php), as you do with other plugins. It will then automatically replace your existing version and work again – the version thereafter is what broke it all.

Also, make sure to then disable automated updates for this plugin version.

Thanks for looking into it, but generating images from the titles is still broken for me, and across all sites and setups. The update from earlier this morning also didn’t help.

The logs aren’t helpful in this case either, since it just states that the image generation has been successful. But all I get is a blank image, showing only the background color selected, but no title.
