I have the exact same problem. Other items outside of composite products can be added to cart no problem. Commenting the lines @lalutotale mentioned in this thread resolved the problem.

Hopefully the next plugin update fixes the bug.

I can’t test that right now as the shortcode is working fine. It only messes up with some plugin updates. Because I didn’t want it to be broken for weeks, I did the remove/add star (featured product) to fix it. It’s pretty hard to pinpoint as I don’t want the site to be broken for a long time.

It’s my own custom theme. There’s no errors when this happens. You can see the HTML (empty div) in my opening message.

Thank you for your reply. I would be happy to do some editing of the Front-end Editor plugin but don’t really know where to start. Was just hoping to get some tips on where I might have to look.

I figured it out. By changing the last “true” to “false” (changing when the jQuery is being loaded, I was able to fix the problem.
