Thank you for asking. The current “Free” version of SodaHead Polls for WordPress doesn’t allow unauthenticated creation of polls. However, we work with Publishers to do custom implementations (ESPN, Los Angeles Times, FoxNews, Telepictures, etc…).

Please contact if you have an interest in a custom solution.

SodaHead does not “spam” users.

You may have received an email related to users interacting with your content on the SodaHead community. WP Polls may optionally appear on https://www.sodahead.com, where it receives votes and comments. Our email system alerts you to these interactions.

You can opt-out of any/all emails from SodaHead at any time. We comply with all email best practices and make it easy to opt-out with one-click linked in each email.

We had a server outage yesterday. It should be fixed by now.

Thanks for the note and opportunity to clarify…

SodaHead doesn’t require registration for the voters unless the poll author chooses that option. It defaults to “allow anonymous” option. You can require registration as another layer of security to prevent vote fraud.

The poll does not have any ads or miscellaneous graphics — perhaps you meant on the site where you can author, edit, update and manage the polls?
