  • Hello Kryvula,

I’m having exactly the same problem.
Up to now I found out, that Metadata in the caption of an image that has mutated vowels / umlaut produces that error messages and distortions of gallery images. If there, the caption of an image is used by WP and displayed if one has a theme, that displays the cation as an image description e.g. under the image. If the image caption has no mutated vowels everything works fine!

I’m using the german version of WordPress with no Plugins. First I thought it might be, that the reason is the use of mutated vowels in the german language – but since Kryvula havs the same problem – and I guess you are not german, Kryvula and don’t use mutated vowels in your caption – the problem should be something else.
But maybe your original image caption has some other signs, that WP cant’t read, Kryvula??

To all the WP-Pros: I would be VERY greatful for help, too.

    Greetings from solveig ??
