In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML Sitemap gives an empty pageApparently Yoast doesn’t care if humans can see the sitemap or not. Checking webmaster tools, Google can “see” and review the sitemaps without issue.
I started using Google XML sitemaps and had to disable it because of a conflict with SEO.

In reply to: WP visual editor not functioningThanks. Took some time, but it was a YouTube plugin that was recently updated that caused the problem.
YouTube embedplu v 2.1 is the culprit.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML Sitemap gives an empty pageSimilar issue. Sitemap won’t load in Chrome, but in FF I get this.
Error loading stylesheet: A network error occurred loading an XSLT stylesheet:https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/xml-sitemap-xsl.php
Like others, I have reverted to Google XML Sitemap plugin so search engines don’t think I have closed shop.
I am running 3.12. Problem “resolved itself” for me a few days after my last post (4 months ago).
Don’t know why it broke or how it got fixed. Perhaps a conflict with another plugin? Can’t say.
Who is updating this plug in? When you go to the developer’s site it appears nothing has changed since 2007. Doesn’t appear to be a way to contact him direct and tell him about this issue. Support links direct you to this site. Bummer.
Looks like this is not going to be resolved any time soon. Anyone have a suggestion for a sitemap plugin that works?
I have a similar problem but specific to notifying Ask. I get this error msg.

In reply to: Google sitemap xml trash pagesSitemap picked up a page, not a post, a page from the trash heap and included it as an active link. I went back and permanently deleted the page, ran the plugin again and the page is no longer listed in my sitemap. Bums me out the plugin would list a trashed page. Makes me wonder what else it is picking up.
