Hi there @sebassvg,
Thank you for reaching out!
We identified a bug in the previous Variation Bundles version that sounds like it could be related to the error you encountered. This issue came up when customers used a specific Variation inside a Bundle and then added the Bundle to a different Variation of the same Variable Product.
The latest Variation Bundles version: 1.1.2, includes a fix for this. Could you please make sure you are currently using version 1.1.2 of our mini-extension?
Let me know if this helps!

Could you please check that the Min/Max Bundle Size fields are empty: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Wnu05KLE? This is one of the requirements to make a Bundle static.
Does this help?

In reply to: [Product Bundles - Variation Bundles] Increase quantity does not update priceHi @mindylim1027 ,
Thank you for the clarification!
From the details you shared, it appears you have encountered an issue with the official WooCommerce Product Bundles extension on your site. The behavior you describe definitely doesn’t sound right for a Bundle with Priced Individually Bundled Products.
Could you please submit a new support request via your WooCommerce.com account dashboard at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/marketplace-ticket-form/ and also share a link to an affected Bundle with us there?
Someone from our team will be happy to assist you with this!

In reply to: [Product Bundles - Variation Bundles] Increase quantity does not update priceHi there @mindylim1027 ,
Thanks for reaching out!
As far as I understand, you have created a Variable Product with Variation Bundles and when you select a specific option in the Variations dropdown on the product page, the total price of the product changes accordingly. However, the price doesn’t change when you change to the selected quantity. Is this correct?
If so, then this is the default behavior as shown in this short video. Changing the quantity doesn’t have any effect on the product page — the total price based on the selected quantity shows up only in the cart/checkout. Can you please double-check that you see the correct price when you add the product to the cart?
The same applies to Variable Products that don’t have any Bundles linked to the Variation Bundles field: the total price doesn’t change on the product page according to quantity. We have decided to follow the same approach for Variation Bundles as well.
Does this help?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Dependencies] Product DependenciesHey @westhantscamc,
Thanks for reaching out!
Currently, Product Dependencies supports the following product types:
1. Simple Products.
2. Variable Products.
3. Product Bundles.
4. Composite Products.
5. Bookable Products.On our side, we do not maintain an integration with WP-Event Manager — that’s why you don’t see the Dependencies field for Event Ticket products. Moreover, we do not have any plans to add an integration with this plugin in the near future — however, if this compatibility request becomes more popular, we will definitely consider looking into this sooner.
In the meantime, if this is urgent for you, it is a good idea to consider hiring an experienced WooCommerce developer to help you build an integration between the two plugins. This integration should ensure that the Dependencies tab shows up for Event Ticket products and also that dependencies are correctly evaluated for this product type.
For WordPress/WooCommerce customizations of this scale, we highly recommend https://codeable.io/.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Dependencies] Notice appears in wrong placeHey @nickpetersres,
Thanks for trying that!
This notice should appear above the product’s title and under the site’s default navigation menu like so: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuOdJe9.
Taking a look at the screenshot you shared, I noticed that there isn’t a navigation menu there so the notice appears almost at the top of the page. Do you perhaps use a page builder to configure how the product pages look like?
To see how product pages look like by default, I suggest to:
- keep the Twenty Twenty One theme active and;
- deactivate all other plugins except for WooCommerce and Product Dependencies.
Can you please try that and let me know where the notice shows up then?
Cheers,
Jason Kytros

Your observations are on-point.
From a technical perspective, there isn’t a reliable way to automatically fill in the variation’s price and remaining stock with the price/stock of the associated Bundle.
Variation Bundles is a free mini-extension that was created as a workaround to solving a difficult problem: “How to create Variable Products with Product Bundles as variations?”.
If you are looking to group together Product Bundles in a more efficient way that doesn’t require you setting up the same price/stock in multiple places, then I recommend to use Composite Products. For your specific use case, I suggest to create a Composite Product with a single component and add all Product Bundles as available options there.
Would you consider using this plugin instead?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Product Dependencies] Notice appears in wrong placeHey @nickpetersres,
Thanks for reaching out!
I took a look at this product: https://www.realestatespreadsheets.com/product/upgrade-rental-property-analysis-spreadsheet-advanced-to-pro/ and indeed noticed that the dependency notice shows up at the top of the page — in my local site where the Storefront theme is active, this is where I see this notice: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Apu9N4j4.
Product Dependencies uses the WooCommerce core
wc_add_notice()
function to add and display notices. Each theme, though, styles these notices in a unique way.Can you please temporarily switch your active theme back to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty One) or the WooCommerce core compliant Storefront theme and let me know if you see the same issue there?
To avoid causing any problems to your live site, the best way to do this would be to try setting up a staging site, for example using a plugin such as WP Staging or Duplicator — and then troubleshoot the issue on the staging site.
Note that some hosts provide a Control Panel option for creating development/staging sites easily — if you are not sure about this, it might be worth asking your host as this is definitely the easiest and fastest way to do it.
Let me know what you find out!

Thanks for reaching out!
To achieve the result you have in mind it is necessary to:
- create a Product Bundle for each size,
- create a Variable Product with size variations and;
- link each size variation to the respective Bundle.
To set up a Product Bundle that includes only specific sizes/variations:
- add the “Shirt” and “Pants” Variable Products as bundled items,
- use the Filter Variations option to include only a specific variation in the Bundle and;
- use the Override Default Selections option to select this variation by default.
You may find a detailed example on how to add individual variations as bundled items at: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/bundles/bundles-configuration/#section-13.
After you:
- create a Product Bundle for each available size and;
- create a Variable Product with size variations,
you need to link each Bundle to a specific variation. To do this, click to edit each variation and share for the respective Bundle in this field: https://share.getcloudapp.com/o0uPk2jQ.

Support Escalation and Test Engineer | SomewhereWarm | https://somewherewarm.com/Hey @oblakodev,
Yes, it is possible to select some products whose dependencies will use OR and some others whose will use AND.
To achieve this, it is necessary to modify the snippet you are using and take advantage of the
$product
argument.Did you perhaps have a chance to take a look at this example: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/category-dependancy-with-and-and-within-category-or/#post-14749022 ? The snippet we shared in that thread applies an “AND” relationship to some product IDs — for the rest of the products, an “OR” relationship will apply.

https://somewherewarm.gr/Hey @oblakodev,
Thanks for reaching out!
You are right that customers must own or purchase at least one of the products/categories that you have set up as dependencies in order to add a specific product to the cart. In other words, there is an “or” relationship between the dependencies.
To change this relationship to “and” and ensure that customers own or have added to the cart all the dependency products, it is necessary to use the snippet you already found. To make this snippet apply only to specific products, a bit of custom work is required — you may find an example in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/category-dependancy-with-and-and-within-category-or/#post-14749022.
The only limitation here is that you cannot have both “or” and “and” relationships for a single set of dependencies. For example, for a specific product it is not possible to do the following:
Product Dependencies: ( Product A or Product B ) and Product C
