Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Unable to access website shoutyourname.com-multiple error messagesI had three problems with my blog and received EXCELLENT service from those WordPress forums and the issues were resolved quickly and completely. My mistake thinking I could expect the same from the website version of the forums.
AS I SAID
I CONTACTED GoDaddy (3 posts ago). When I go to my other WordPress sites and click on the “view sites” page of the dashboard, the Shout Your Name site has a big red triangular warning sign. When I click on it, a big red screen pops up saying “disconnect site”.
. . . . . SOUNDS like a WordPress issue to me.
I will add your brush-off to the others.
GoDaddy says – we can access it, it’s not our problem.
Bing/Yahoo says – we can access it, it’s not our problem.
Wordpress says – WE can access it, it’s not our problem.(Just ignore those big red warnings – you can’t do anything anyway as long as they’re there to prevent your access)

In reply to: Unable to access website shoutyourname.com-multiple error messagesAGAIN –
I can’t GET to the login.
When I type the address in the address bar Firefox times out and Yahoo says it “cannot access the site”.When I enter the name in the Yahoo search bar and then click on the site: Firefox and Yahoo both bring up the site in the search results. But when I click on the site Firefox says it timed out waiting for the server and Yahoo says it “cannot access the site”. (It USED to say the site was “forbidden”)
When I go to my other WordPress sites and bring up the “view my sites” screen there’s a big red warning triangle on Shout Your Name and if I try to click on it the screen goes red with the message “disconnect site”.
AS I WROTE BEFORE.

In reply to: Unable to access website shoutyourname.com-multiple error messagesI can’t GET to the login. Every time I try to get to the site: Yahoo says it “cannot access the site”, Firefox says it “timed out while waiting for the server”, WordPress “view my blogs” has a big red triangular warning sign and won’t allow me to click on the site to switch to it.
Apparently everyone in the free freaking world can access the site EXCEPT me and I’M supposed to be administering the site. I haven’t been able to access the site all this year.
GoDaddy says – we can access it, it’s not our problem.
Bing/Yahoo says – we can access it, it’s not our problem. When running the network troubleshooter it says:
1) Firewall/connection error 314
2) Reset DNS something – then it says it did it and when I retry I get the same error message
3) Your computer appears to be configured correctly – the server is unavailable
