    Ok still no solution?

    disabled all the plugins – no help
    empty cache – no help
    reinstalled 3 or 4 times – no help
    updated Java – no help
    Box is unchecked in the Admin for

    I have no error messages that I can find

    When I try and edit pages I have no text showing and visual doesn’t work

    So can I give someone a key to my site and see if they can do something? I need to fix this ASAP

    Ok so who has the fix for a non working visual after upgrading to 3.5?

    instead of sniping – provide a fix for this problem

    (@sonnyjames)

    Well this is the fixer’s comments —

    I agree it’s just a quick and dirty solution. But it will allow you to work on the site normally while the issue is fully resolved.

    It may be that something went wrong with the update of the jquery libraries on the latest update. Not sure what tho, I’m still going around and fixing problems before I debug anything. SO DON’T THINK THIS HELPS

    In checking thru-out the forums, there sure are alot of problems after upgrading to 3.5.

    Sure would of benefited many if WP would of gotten them dam bugs out before releasing 3.5 –

    I also noticed that my new version of word press doesn’t allow me to
    * Color my Text

    * Change the Font Size

    Here are my options for editing –

    B I Link Del Ins Img Ul Li code more lookup close tags fullscreen

    This is considered an upgrade? or is something missing?

    And to Kmessinger – appreciate your help , but I am not the most adept at doing what your fix says to do. I’m afraid that I would make things worse. I probably have no other option but to pay my web guy to fix this – I do remember that I had to purchase my other Word Press Theme and send the link to my web guy. I wonder is that why my other theme was so much better then this one?

    Here’s some of the it’s Wonderful – ( Well NOT )

    It’s the most wonderful time of the year: a new WordPress release is available and chock-full of goodies to delight bloggers and developers alike. We’re calling this one “Elvin” in honor of drummer Elvin Jones, who played with John Coltrane in addition to many others. If you’ve been around WordPress a while, the most dramatic […]

    And NO there are NO warnings & that SUCKS

    Thread Starter SonnyJames

    (@sonnyjames)

    Well when I clicked on the link on my site that said upgrade to 3.5 its wonderful , great , all new – No where did it mention – WAIT there might be compatible issues – cause if there was I would not of done it!

    Because now I can’t do want needs to be done –

    So how do I change it back?

    Thread Starter SonnyJames

    (@sonnyjames)

    I pretty much wrote all the content on word and sent it to my web guy and he put the site together. I have edited the site many many times and never had any code show up in the edit pages

    So are you saying when I edit I can just delete the code along with the words I want to change?

    Hello plugin or theme author! You possibly found this post after searching the Internet for the error above: “PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare().”

    So, this is a new warning in 3.5. No sites are broken, everything is fine as before. But, this is indeed something you need to look at, because you may be exposing your users to a possible SQL injection vulnerability. Now that’s no fun!

    First, if you’re a user and you want to get rid of these errors, you should turn off the displaying of errors in PHP. There are many ways to do this, such as in php.ini, .htaccess, etc. For this, you can just put this in wp-config.php. (Note that hiding errors on production sites is good practice anyway.)
    1

    @ini_set(‘display_errors’, 0);

    Ok how do I find displaying of errors in PHP on my site ? is there a way to simplify the instructions ie
    go here on the dashboard – click this & place the following ??? click enter and shazam your site is fixed . I really don’t want to have to spend over $100 dollars to have my web person fix this , so I’m hoping you could please simplify the how to fix instructions

    I can’t seem to find the link for info (Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare)

    I’ll give it a day and if no solution I will have to pay for my web guy to fix this which really sucks

    Is there a way to just go back to my previous version? In my opinion much simpler to make changes etc
