In reply to: [Contact Form 7] thank you page with contact formthanks buzz tone. that information was indeed very useful. I read the articles on the redirection. though the author states that it’s not that necessary, if you’re using Facebook conversion pixel, the only way you can ascertain that the transaction has been completed is to insert it on the page after – thank you page. interestingly enough, he mentions that google analytics can track the ‘submit’ event. my question is: what if you want to redirect to meet Facebook requirement and track the track the event in google analytics, how can the two codes be combined?
on_sent_ok: “location = ‘https://example.com/’;”
on_sent_ok: “_gaq.push([‘_trackEvent’, ‘Contact Form’, ‘Submit’]);”Forum: Hacks
In reply to: custom formthank you romanbon. I think that I may have heard of or tried ninja forms before. curious that when I searched wordpress org for form based on those criteria, ninja forms didn’t come up – or maybe they were way down the list. I’m gonna take a close look.

In reply to: [Virtue] adding a widget area in the headerthank you again. this widget, if I’m not mistaken is in the top bar. I would like to have a widget below the main menu. so my options seem limited to moving that widget from its location or creating a new widget area. I think that creating a new widget area gives me more options. I may consider looking for another theme because this seems limiting to me. thank you again.

In reply to: [Virtue] adding a widget area in the headerthank you hannah for your contribution. I don’t know if I’m asking too much but I wanted to leave that widget alone, in case we wanna use the social widgets. I want to create a new widget area by going to the functions file and register a new widget area. if anyone has done it before it will be helpful. thanks.

In reply to: [zeeMagazine] how do I reduce the height of the top part?thank you for your response. I figured it out. I was puzzled. so I downloaded a fresh copy of zeemagazine to compare. then I realized a class that I inserted in the #head had a top margin of 70px. that’s almost a 100px. once I removed the margin, it took care of it. just needed a 10px padding on top. thanks again.

In reply to: [Widget Logic] how to show widget on blog pagegosh! it did it. actually, after trying everything, I kinda thought of is_home() then I said ‘no, the blog isn’t on the home page. big mistake. have a nice weekend and thank you again. souleye
thank you. you answered my question very well. I already have a job board. it works well, except that there’s no possiblity to filter jobs by state. I’m talking to a developer to see if he could add that feature.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] registration form with visual form builderthanks. now I remember why I decided that visual form builder wasn’t suited to my needs – at least this particular need. I’m trying to build a registration form. now if I create a username, email, password, etc… will those fields mirror the native wordpress registration fields in such a way that they can use that info to login? it is not apparent to me that’s the case. am I mistaken? thank you.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] registration form with visual form builderthanks but I think it involves more than just a checkbox. because above the checkbox we need to be able to insert ‘you must agree to our ‘terms of service’ and make it a link to the terms of service page. that’s where the level of difficulty is. thank you.

In reply to: membership pluginthank you christine but I realize that what I need rather is a registration that allows email verification and acceptance of terms of use. the site will allow people to register in order to post articles and comments. but first they need to be verified with an email but they also need to accept the terms of use. sorry for miscommunication.

In reply to: displaying blog in summary with responsive themecorrect me if I’m wrong. I create a blank page and you call it blog. I select blog excerpt as the template for that page. in settings, you assign it to display latest post. then I go and write a normal blog which should be showing up on the blog page. I have similar setup with other wordpress sites. some of them show summary, if that’s what you select in settings. I have had instances the settings didn’t work and I changed it in the php files. why this is not working, I have no idea.
