Thank you for your inquiry and I apologize for the delayed response. If you are still searching for a solution to limiting posts to more recent content, please follow the instructions below:

From the settings tab on the left hand column of your WP blog, select ‘Related Posts by Sovrn’. Once on the settings page, scroll down to ‘Basic Settings’. There you will find a setting: ‘Only show posts from the last _____ months’. You will see drop down there where you can select from the following: Unlimited, 1, 3, or 12 months. Don’t forget to hit ‘Save’ when you are finished.

Thank you for your inquiry and I apologize for the delayed response. In order to resolve this issue, open a new blog post as if you were going to start a new blog, click the ‘sign-in’ button on your Editorial Assistant tool. Once you have opened up the ‘sign-in’ pop-up dialog box, you will select ‘Account’ on the left hand side of the window. From there, scroll down to ‘HTML Code Style’ and select ‘Mark links from Zemanta as rel=”nofollow”‘ and hit the save button. Then, return to you blog post and refresh the page, and you should now be signed into the Editorial Assistant and should be good to go! Feel free to change the settings back to what you had originally after successful login.

What you will want to do is replace the information below in the compatibility.php file from:

function wp_related_posts() {
$output = wp_get_related_posts();
echo $output;
}

To this:

function wp_related_posts() {
$output = wp_get_related_posts();
echo _e($output);
}
