hmm, when i develop software i think of the end user. clearly, the output of a selection of methods would not be difficult to programme yet be so helpful but it seems is missing!

I think my point about the instructions as newbie, it was not fully clear what i do to make it work, as for pAGE.php, what do i use instead? Is there a template that is better than others? I have chosen responsive because it was more suitable.

further to the above, i found the instructions however they dont make sense because there are no “files/folders” as named e.g. page.php and index.php is the general theme page loader.

so where do i put this code?

I put the shortcodes on the correct page (not the first of the site) as [recontre] [recontre-libre] side by side as in instructions, but when viewing the page, the “libre” tag is visible while the other isn’t. Also, there is just a blank page with no dating function showing.

I’m sorry if these are newbie questions but I am a 4 day newbie to wordpress and learning on the go.

is there any documentation about the various options, e.g. im sure i read somewhere it needs a full width widget?

how does the “membership” integrate into wordpress? I use aMember to control signups and payments, which obviously is integrated into WP so the members info is transferred across.

just set all to 777 and it activated! which files/folders do not need 777?

it is linux, and a shared commercial hire server (webcastle).

i installed wordpress myself using one of my domain names. I am fairly experienced, but not with wordpress!!

updated via plugins. changed all files/folders to 775..

now only 2 errors:

it is 755 already… i just checked.

i removed it, reinstalled it, now WP will not crash out when I activate, however I get errors at the top of the WP plugins screen. I think same/similar, (forgot to copy)

it says something about WP highest compatibility, 4.2 – my version is 4.3 i just installed.

I would really like to use this, as it fits my requirements completely.
