I do backup of “full site” weekly and use child theme for all my sites.

I have three site using Twenty Eleven and none of them have a functions.php file. I did not delete it.

I checked the original install file and there is a functions.php file.

What would happen if i upload functions.php file now?

Thank you…That fixed it. There is just so much out there you don’t know who to take advice from.

But now ALL the text on the page is justified right. Even the menu bar is now backwards. The search box is on the left and the menu links are on right side.

Maybe I did not make it clear. I want to make posts from a selected category to a selected page that can only be seen on that page. But still be able to make posts from other categories to main page.

The “Posts to Page” plugin dose this but the posts can still be seen on main page also. I have tried to contact them but they have not answer.

The static front page would not work.
