Sorry, I was away a bit.
The line(s) should be like this:

<li><h2>Categories</h2>
<ul>

			<?php wp_list_categories("show_count=1&title_li="); ?>

</ul>
</li>

and this works for me. The numbers are next to the category names.
So, maybe you should copy this part of your code, just to have a look at it.

I do not want to open a new thread.
I have the same (it seems to me) problem: Per Soderlind’s ImageManager plugin doesn’t work.
It worked before in another WP blog. The only difference is that now it is in a subdirectory (it is part of a web page) /wp/
The error message is this:

Warning: main(): Unable to access files.php in /disk/raid3/s/z/valami/wp/wp-content/plugins/ImageManager/classes/imagemanager.php on line 9

Warning: main(files.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /disk/raid3/s/z/valami/wp/wp-content/plugins/ImageManager/classes/imagemanager.php on line 9

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'files.php' (include_path='') in /disk/raid3/s/z/valami/wp/wp-content/plugins/ImageManager/classes/imagemanager.php on line 9

I checked all the files, they are there. The icon is in the text editor’s toolbar, but if I click on it I get the error message.
I have the same plugins that I had in the other blog.
I tried to deactivate all other plugins nothing changed.
Any idea?

Did you copy all the files tinyMCE needs?
You can see the installation instruction in read_me text file in zipped file you downloaded.
Next question: what about –> admin / Plugins / activate?

Just a question: where is your install.php?
It should be on the server, like:
https://example.com/wp-admin/install.php
After you modified the wp-config.php and uploaded (ftp) into your directory on your server, you have to write the link (above) into the browser’s address line. And that’s it.
If you did what I wrote here then maybe I misunderstood your problem. Please, write it more precisely and we can step further. ??
