yes, got it solved thanks.

had to do with multiple google map instances. my purchased theme had one in the header which made any other maps on the page not load…

everything works fine on Twenty Twelve for me

strange however that my contact us page works ok with both the header map and the map on the page…

strange too that it used to work fine with the header map AND the locations map displaying properly

i tried deactivating all my plugins except for EM and my maps still don’t display (using purchased custom theme)

note, my theme has a drop down gmap in the header (click the little green triangle and the map drops down)

when I disable that header map, everything works fine

also, none of the maps on the location pages shows up either

I’ve muddled around and I’m sure it’s something simple but with my limited knowledge I’ve not been able to figure it out. I’ll try prodding the theme developer to see if they are able to help at all…

There are several responsive themes at https://www.mojo-themes.com/ that I’ve used with EM.

Thanks agelonwl, I gave that a try without success (the resulting location page showed only my featured image and no content). Even if I could get the location page to have no sidebar at all would be great. There’s got to be a way… I wish I knew php a little better…

try a different browser maybe? I’ve had issues with IE but firefox works great… particularly when adding media. Not only can you drag and drop files but it also recalls file paths.
