Similar issue at my end. I think it is a problem in Elementor because the Settings-> Features now no longer shows the option for DOM optimization (which was previously Inactive in my site) and I think you guys are running it on by default which is breaking old sites

So did you check it out? Is it the condition parameter or are you still facing issues?

Can you please send me the exact shortcode you are using? Are you sure you are now using the newer parameters too (condition ‘any’/’all’). The default condition is now ‘any’ which means that as soon as any criteria is fulfilled then the content shows.

I did test it on 4.4 – can you please provide more details on what is not working?

In places where they say that the feed is an issue – try this url: https://catarinasworld.com/feed/

When trying to replace the files are you sure replaced with the correct WP version?

Also make sure that none of your theme files have any empty space at the bottom of the code (no extra line breaks)

Should be ok now in the newer version

However, to respond to you – no this plugin cannot what you are trying to do.

I will be completely rewriting the plugin soon and will try to incorporate what you request as well as add a couple of new features.

The problem is that one cannot be certain about the roles hierarchy. It is possible for someone to setup their installation such that there are additional roles – which will mean that there is no way for me to know for sure which role stands as the base role.

I think what you mean is that it should be hidden for everyone who is not logged in. In that case you can use:

[restrict allow_role=”subscriber”]stuff that is hidden here[/restrict]

If this is not what you meant then please explain the situation a bit more
