In reply to: [Advanced Accordion Gutenberg Block] Unfortunately keeps breaking on updatesHi @heaterlink ,
We understand the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Since your plugin is already updated to the latest version but the problem persists, you may need to manually fix the affected blocks.
To resolve this, you will need to recreate the broken accordion blocks on your pages. While we have ensured stability in the latest versions to prevent this issue from occurring in the future, any previously affected blocks will need to be manually adjusted at least once.
If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
Hi @hebhansen ,
Yes, you can add text to the version. If you go to the ChangeLog edit section, you will find the Version Name field where you can customize it. Here’s a screenshot for reference: screenshot.Regarding the version box width, it automatically adjusts based on the content inside. If the content is longer, the box will expand accordingly.
As for the color boxes, you can modify them if needed. You have the option to edit colors such as New Color, Fixed Color, Tweaked Color, Updated Color, Note Color, Deleted Color, Notice Color, and General Color to suit your preference. Here’s a screenshot for reference: screenshot.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Could you please specify which BBPCORE filter you are referring to? Are you referring to a specific widget or function? Let us know so we can assist you accordingly.Hi @visualeight ,
We understand the issues you’re facing with the accordion block after updating the plugin. We want to assure you that the updates from version 4.8.0 to 4.8.2 are stable, and the accordion block should not break. Additionally, future updates will be designed to remain stable, ensuring that the “Attempt Recovery” notice will no longer appear.
However, users updating from a version earlier than 4.8.0 may still encounter issues with accordion blocks breaking. The migration process from versions 4.8.0 to 4.8.1 to 4.8.2 is stable, and all functionality is working as expected. If you’re updating from an older version and experiencing issues, we recommend manually recreating the affected blocks to ensure compatibility.

Thank you for reaching out. Could you please clarify whether the yellow background issue affects all highlighted text across the page or just the highlighted text inside the accordion? This will help us diagnose the issue more effectively.Looking forward to your response.

It’s great to hear that you’ll be setting up the new version in your sandbox environment for additional testing with your content editors. Please feel free to report any issues or unexpected behavior you come across, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Hi @nauran81 ,
The new recovery process significantly improves the handling of recovery blocks, ensuring a smoother experience overall. If recovery is done from a recent version, there should be no risk of accordions breaking. However, recovering from much older versions may still present issues with accordion functionality on the frontend.
Since many users have multiple accordion blocks on a single page, the recovery button was designed to streamline the process by allowing recovery with a single click, eliminating the need to manually recover each block. This enhancement specifically helps users encountering the “Attempt Recovery” notice.
While this isn’t a full resolution for all older-version issues, it’s a step toward minimizing disruptions and improving overall usability. We appreciate your continued input and are working on further improvements.
