Thank you. Doesn’t look like since this was a recent upgrade, but oh well. I was not sure where the problem was. K2 support forums don’t garner responses, which encourages me to abandon K2 and soon as I have the fortitude to change my blog’s look. Thank you for your response.

OK. Let me ask this, before I proceed.

I use the K2 theme. I accidentally copied the info.php from the (way newer) K2 to this blog instead of my other one. Would this have anything to do with it? I uploaded the new K2 files to my directory via FTP just now but don’t know how to proceed to get it to load this new theme (or restore the original one), since I cannot get in at all. However, this may not be the problem.

WordPress backed up automatically so all my files should be in backup. They are all there on the server, too, as I saw in my ftp client. For some reason I just cannot access them now.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I checked the ht or hp access file and all it does is point to the /main subdirectory. All the wp files are in the /main directory as well as all the uploads, styles etc.

I think my big confusion is that it works in Safari but shows up as white in Firefox. I can’t figure out where the problems lies. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe. The provider would not let me upload WP to the root directory, but the modified the hpaccess (or whatever) file to point there. It worked until I modified the header and it works in Safari. Sigh. I am so confused.
