i build mine as a static site and then chop it up into the parts wordpress needs, thats how i do mine anyway. you got any thoughts at all on your layout?

hey stacey just took another look at the link and I think you should do something with that image you have on there of the city? Some dark retro backgroud using that and then some floating box tabs or something for content.

the server is just having and upgrade at the moment so was a really bad time to look lol

blame microsoft i.e has its own set of rules when it comes to css and its such a pain, im just going through it all now but ill have a better look at lunch.

ah yeah I see now, its pushed out by about 1px! ill look at the code now and see what i come up with

you can either take the text style out of the body and give each tag its own style, or the section you want to have in a different font create a class and apply it so something like this maybe :

In your css :

#content_txt {
	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size: 0.7em;
	color: #333333;
}

Then if you want your text to have that effect in the writing section in the admin for post or page go to the html tab and do this :

<div id="content_txt">your text here</div>

Is that what you wanted?

can you upload a screen shot of i.e for me please? the wife has taken the laptop to work and im mac base

have you altered the css at all? that would explain the problems cross platform or maybe it was not fixed to start with. Where did you get the theme?

As for colours different compressions offer various colour tones so that maybe your problem there?

hi enggie, the best way to look it is to screeen grab your site put everything from the banner and above into the header.php file, board index and below into the footer.php and create the background using css and apply it to the body

thats a quick simple way I can describe what to do

i like it alot, i prefer the sites that push wordpress out of its box and into in the unknown, great effort

as wendel said no need for the splash page they are no good for SEO either!

I had posted with my new theme a while back and im a designer, however I have just been changing it around and updating it and working on it as I go along. It is live to so I need to sorted this week. but it should give you some ideas its a similar layout to your theme
