In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Absolute GarbageHi,
Bob from Jetpack emailed me last night and I have responded to him. I managed to restore the site myself by pushing a Staging copy back into Production and adjusting things from there.
As I said to Bob, my biggest issue was the fact that the automated response from Jetpack said someone would be in touch with 24 hours. That’s the last thing someone wants to read when their website has gone down. Little guys like us with no IT support, rely on big guys like Jetpack to keep things going. So for a backup to fail, it’s a big deal.
Thanks for responding to me.
Steveush, you sir are a genius. Before getting down to a level of trouble shooting that’s probably a little beyond my capabilities, I took your advice and turned off the jQuery updater. Sure enough that fixed the problem straight away. Thank you for taking the time to walk me through your solution in such a detailed way. I really do appreciate the time and effort you put in to assisting me.
Regards.
Awesome! I can’t thank you enough for offering to assist. The link is:

You’ll see what I mean when you click on an image and then try and click the arrows left and right to work your way through the gallery.

In reply to: [SoundCloud Shortcode] Autoplay IssueAs I’m talking to myself, I’ll tell myself that I got it fixed by using the widget code and not the WordPress code provided by SoundCloud. Makes no sense but it’s fixed.
Thanks for your help.
You’re welcome.

In reply to: [SoundCloud Shortcode] Autoplay IssueI just had yet another go at fixing this stupid code with this version:
[soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/107724292%3Fsecret_token%3Ds-nVCSN” params=”color=ff6600&auto_play=false&show_artwork=true” width=” 100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
And yes it still auto plays. What is wrong with SoundCloud? It’s a piece of junk!
