Nevermine, I deleted the line of code including “lwa-links-register-inline” in login-with-ajax.js. Don’t know if it is smart or not, however it seems to work.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyWhen I enable Ajaxify Widget in Tools following error displays on my site: “Error: cannot ajaxify WordPress Popular Posts on this theme. It’s missing the id attribute on before_widget (see register_sidebar for more)”. In Settings > WPP the plugin is sorting the posts correctly, but on my homepage it is not. ??
Maybe my theme is not supporting WPP? That’s really not good for me.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyI still experience the problem. Out of curiosity, does the plugin “Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions” do harm to the sorting from the new features of 3.2.2? Do you want to check out my homepage? – vi-fit.org

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyAnd now I jinxed it.
I have send you the tables on your mail as requested, I figure it’s dot com lastly.Does editing in my theme’s functions.php have anything to do with this? I recently did that and the bug kinda appeared after that.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyAfter deleting some of the tables that could have an impact on the plugin, such as “top 10 popular posts”-plugin tables, I haven’t encountered any problems for two days now.
You want us to send the tables when the bug is current, right?

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyStrange… yes, there is only one wp_popularpostsdata.
I have cleaned my database as good as possible(deleted two old “top 10”-plugin tables no longer in use), disable some site-stats plugins, and cleared my WPP cache again. Hope this time I won’t run into problems. Will report back to you in here if it persists.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyWhen expecting the wp_popularpostsdata it seems like it keeps track of posts with id’s my current posts don’t have. I looked up the post id’s and it leads me to pages. One of the pages are a front-end “create post”-page, so wp_popularpostsdata keeps track of my pages as well. Is this intended?

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyYes I have that.
FROM

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyThat might very well have been the case. When I began my site-creation I experimented with different popular posts plugins, however yours are currently the only active PP-plugin. Don’t know if “Special Recent Posts”-plugin might inflict here?
When I sort by all time the plugin seems to function fine.

Do you want me to delete traces of the other PP-plugins from my database?

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyOkay so the thing we talked about happened, just now. Views are all over the place.

It happened approximately 24 hours after my last reset of the cache.
I would like to say that I am still editing a lot on my site and are installing/deleting plugins regularly, maybe there’s a conflict there?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Not sorting by views correctlyCan’t provide you with a screenshot atm since I just cleared my cache to make the plugin run smooth again. WIll keep this thread alive to keep you informed if the bug(?) persist.
Unfortunately, no. The plugin will register every pageview – even from the same visitor.
Is this something you will look to in the future? – Without the great knowledge of scripting/writing plugins it seems like your feature “WP popular rating” has this kind of option(only members can vote).

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] How to include new published posts?Thank you for responding to my support thread so quickly.
Since you want to encourage visitors to contribute to the site, it is important to make sure that the most popular among your newest articles are highlighted on your site. Fortunately, WPP has the ability to filter posts by freshness – that is, to list only those entries published in the Time Range (last 24 hours / 7 days / etc).
Maybe I was not clear enough when I stated my concerns above. When my visitors(or myself) create a new post, the post itself has 0 views and are therefore not included with your plugin. Is there a way to include 0 views posts?
