  • Hi,

The plugin author confirmed the issue and advised me to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin (which he released practically the same day – thanks!).
I did, and tested, and all worked fine.

    Hope that helps.

    Ok, thanks.

However the extension you recommend is a paid item.
The delivery notes extension I was referring to is free and is still available in the Jigoshop extensions shop.

To avoid confusion and since, as described above, the free delivery notes extension is buggy, could you remove it from https://jigoshop.com/product-category/other/

    Thanks.

    Hi Daniel,
First can I say that I’m really impressed with your BackWPup plugin.

However I think I have a problem similar to nengineer, above.
I’m running the latest version of WP (3.4) and the latest version of BackWPup (2.1.11).

Nightly backups are being produced correctly with no error or delay EXCEPT they appear to be running at 05:30 rather than the time of 02:30 which I’ve scheduled in the ‘Job Schedule’ section of the ‘BackWPup Job Settings’ page for the one, single backup job I’ve created.

I’m transferring the backup file offsite to a dropbox account. The timestamp on the backup file confirms yyyy-mm-dd_05-30-ss and the Dropbox ‘modified’ timestamp for the file also matches this. In the BackWPup interface itself, the job’s log also confirms 05:30 as does the ‘last run’ date etc.
    At least there is consistency.

My website is setup to use the Athens timezone and there appears to be no problem there. I’m running the site on GoDaddy’s European cloud servers (not my choice!).

Can you help? 05:30 isn’t actually a bad time for the backups to run but I would like to have confidence that I can properly schedule backups as I intend to use your plugin (by far the best) for many more sites.

Thanks – and keep up the good work.

    Thanks Geczy,

Any realistic dates for the 1.3 release? Worth an ask!

Re the popup j/s alerts which appear to be displaying the tax calcs – which you’re unable to reproduce.
This is definitely occurring for me, consistently so perhaps more info will help you replicate the issue:

The popups alerts appear as soon as you recalculate a manually adjusted order – as if Jigoshop is showing you that it has calculated tax on each item, straight away as soon as the tax value has been calculated.
Each popup appears in turn after clicking the ‘ok’ button on the previous one. One popup alert, it seems, per order item.

It might be worth noting that I’m using Webmatrix to setup WP on a Windows 7 machine. Perhaps this doesn’t occur on a Linux install? I’ve noticed several e-commerce plugins that won’t even install properly on a windows system, so I’m not discounting anything at the moment.
I can send screenshots if you wish.

Thanks for the other tips re emails etc.
    All the best.

I am. Tried everything. Deactivating, reinstalling, checked error logs for cart66 and for PHP.

Cart66 error log states nowt much – something about a bad slurp.
PHP logs contain quite a bit more info, such as some seemingly pretty serious stuff:

WordPress database error Table ‘wordpresspmb.wp_cart66_sessions’ doesn’t exist for query select * from wp_cart66_sessions where session_id =

WordPress database error Incorrect integer value: ” for column ‘id’ at row 1 for query INSERT INTO wp_cart66_products (id,name, blah blah…

WordPress database error Duplicate column name ‘notes’ for query
    — Upgrading to Cart66 1.0.1

WordPress database error Duplicate column name ‘notes’ for query…alter table wp_cart66_accounts add column notes text not null made by activate_plugin, do_action, call_user_func…blah, blah

Pity – was really looking forward to trying this one out…

    Same here.
Vanilla WP install (using webmatrix) on localhost -> upgraded to latest version -> installed Cart66 -> tried to add a product -> yellow message pops up for a fraction of a second at top centre of screen, advising ‘Processing’ -> Screen refreshes and no product is saved.

Have tried repeated times, tried deactivating, uninstalling, standing on my head. No joy.
Please don’t make me use wp-e-commerce.
