Hi Leland, thanks for your response. I used the vimeo embed code instead of the URL and made sure as I copy and pasted the code, there were no gaps in editor. However, got the same results.

I’m just wondering is this normal for video and not for images? I do the same thing for images except for when I upload an image in the preview mode, gaps between images do show but, after updating the page, the gap closes between images. So, I’m perplexed as to why this doesn’t happen automatically with video??

ANy help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Leland. in page editor I got the following advice from the the theme creators:

The space is appearing due to the line break between the video. You need to remove the line break between the video to remove the space.
    Check the screenshot below

I found where I could delete the page breaks in page editor, but when I delete the breaks and update the page, the three URLs for the three videos literally appears on one line instead of the videos. Like this:

    https://vimeo.com/148967130 https://vimeo.com/154477589 https://vimeo.com/154415238

Leland I hope this helps my explanation.

Leland, I found what I was looking for. I used inspect element to find where to delete the line breaks between each video and then I exited, then I clicked on update but instead of closing the gaps, the actual text appeared in one line instead of the videos. What do you think is the problem ?

    Thanks

Thanks for your response Leland, but I couldn’t find <div class=”video”> in my page editor. I also right clicked in the page editor to get the inspect element and still couldn’t locate where I need to make the adjustment. Would you point me in the right directions please. I’m using the latest word press version.

    Thanks, much appreciated.

Thanks Brian, yes it does make sense, if we were talking about sense. My issue is that the ads play so long and they begin before each video which really takes away the meaning for the videos entirely. My site is featuring NFL training and I added the plug in to enhance my site. There’s a clickable icon in the bottom right corner of the player that allows you to skip to the video, but it doesn’t engage till after the entire ad is finished. Therefore, instead of enhancing the site with good video content, a would be customer would opt out of watching because the ad is too long and they would become uninterested.

So clearly, the viewer should be able to click and continue to the video before the entire ad plays out. Otherwise, this option is absolutely useless and I lose out on the whole idea of site enhancement.

Still looking for a solution. I’ve updated the flash player to the newest updates in system preferences and youtube plays without any issues at all but sport press tv player doesn’t play. I can see the video but the video doesn’t play.
