It didn’t have the wordpress bit at the end, silly me.

Have re-typed it in as
define( ‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://bengalcatworld.com’ );

but it’s still not working. Do I need to put the www. bit in as well?

I went into the folder on my hosting and typed in

define( ‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://bengalcatworld.com/wordpress’ );

Saved, and exited

I tried doing what was stated with the config.php but it didn’t work. It took me to the normal website and said that the page wasn’t found. I’ve now also lost the theme on the website so it looks poor and of course can’t get into the admin page to resolve it. Any further guidance on how to get on to my admin page would be appreciated. (I’ve un-done the changes I made to the php file for now)

Hi. My case gets a little stranger. I was out today and accessed the site via my iPhone at 2 different locations, with no problems at all. Yet when I get home, I can’t access it. I don’t think it’s anything to do with my equipment at home, though, as several people have told me they can’t access the site via their iPhones or iPads and they come from all over the place.

Thanks. I disabled the flash item but it made no difference.

Thank you for your reply. I do have one flash element, but have had this for 2 years with no problems previously. If this is the cause, am happy to disable it.

I have tried other themes such as twenty twelve and the issue persists.

The plug ins I have are:

Fast secure contact form
Jetpack
Subscribe 2 (which doesn’t work properly any longer)
UpDraft Plus
SP Smush.It

All plugins are the latest versions, as is WordPress itself.

Yes, I have it installed, Josh, though I haven’t used it in some time and didn’t do the upgrade for it as I saw there were some issues though I didn’t realise it would impact on links. I will disable it and see if that resolves my issue. Thanks!
