Side note: Do you think this could be an SMTP issue? I wouldn’t think that would affect Hustle saving emails directly, but I’ve had issues with emails in WordPress before…
Thank you for your test Nithin, it did work. I received your mail in Mailchimp and have since removed it. However, there is still an issue because no email shows up in my Hustle list… so the local list does not seem to be working. I read somewhere that it must be activated – is this true? I could not find anywhere to activate it…
Um, wouldn’t the export have my personal Mailchimp settings in it as well? – I don’t want to accidentally post personal information publicly.
Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks.
April
Side Note: You need to fix the conversion rate. It calculates each time the form is processed, but I am not getting any new emails…
Update: I am not positive that I tried a new email. Perhaps you can just try to sign up and I will delete you if it works. Thanks. ?? (The site is not connected, so I will know it was you.)

Update: here’s the deal, I checked the website first on firefox, which I had not been using for development, and the cookie banner worked as expected, but now – I assume because the site is cached – it always pops on loading like it was doing in my development (chrome)…
I would like for the banner to show on every new first instance of a customer’s (return) visit. Or is this caching not an issue? I am unaware of how long it is cached, and what the law is regarding customers seeing the banner more than once on initial visit. If I need to change my caching preferences, that would also be helpful to know, as I do not know how I can be exact about calling out the banner.
Maybe you can clarify this for me?
Here’s the website URL for testing: https://www.apridian.com (still in development)Thanks in advance!
Update: I migrated to my real domain, and it seems to work on the live site fine.
Hi, no I do not have the hide / auto accept enabled… But it is acting as if I did. As I mentioned before, it does work correctly when I click on the “show again” cookie info button.
(I also tried resetting my settings and that did not help the issue.)

Hi, I am not sure of what you are asking… I discovered that I can edit the features on the pages tab instead of on the page itself – if that makes sense, so it is kind of working, but I would still like to be able to update the information directly on the page itself… I still have the issue, nothing has changed.
I am now using a different pop-up plug in, but even when the other plug-ins are deactivated I still have the same issue…
Hi, to clarify, I leave banners on when I am developing so that I can see how they react on page load. In this case, the banner pops on page load – so I see it and then it just disappears before I have the chance to really read and or click on it. This is different behavior compared to when the banner doesn’t show again to the same user – in this case it is not at all visible during the loading process…
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I got it to work. I didn’t originally realize that there was an additional code for the audience… After I added that and re-connected my form it worked fine.

Hi Nastia,
thanks for the reply. I have viewed the attached screenshots and your last screenshot never shows in my Hustle plug-in.
I assume that this is shown after saving the “configure mailchimp” window…. but this always shows the same content (my API key)… The integration site is pretty empty and I do not see anywhere else where I am able to adjust my settings.
If I am mistaken, please tell me how to reach the window in question.
If there is a conflict, I do not know about it. Mailmunch is deactivated.
Thank you,
AprilUpdate: I found the e-mail list tab and the e-mails were saved, but the active integration column remains empty even though I have attempted to set up my mail chimp account…
To clarify further, I want to keep the double opt-in. In Germany it is required. I only wish to know how to properly connect to Mail Chimp… because right now I am getting a success message, but it is obviously not connected.

Let’s try it this way: https://nimb.ws/tSnKxM (Nimbus screen capture)
Hi Hassan,
like I said, I only know what I am experiencing… I think Smart Crawl may be working technically okay, it just seems to try to add an excerpt from what is on the page… is that true? Just being able to disable this automatic grabbing of text in the plug-in settings would probably fix my issue adequately.
And this excerpt is all code in my case… and since I use WPBakery, I am guessing that it is grabbing the code from there. I like to use html inserts for longer texts, so just testing WPBakery may not be enough… one would have to specifically test the html insert.
I would gladly send a screenshot, do you have an IT support e-mail? After this code has populated the meta data I cannot change or delete it. This is not true of new pages that do not yet have content. (There the functionality is completely okay – I can add new text and edit it as I please.)
I do have some console errros, but most of them have to do with a chrome plug-in or broken image links because I am on a temporary domain… I didn’t see anything that looked specifically like it might belong to smart crawl, but I am planning on troubleshooting the errors as soon as I migrate over to my real domain, as I expect a fair number of the issues to resolve themselves at that point.
Thanks, April
As an update, I think this issue has to do with WPBakery – if I write the SEO metadata before adding content to my page, then it is okay, but if I add content first, then I get a bunch of code in the meta data area (apparently it tries to read my content and take an excerpt) and I cannot change this excerpt (gibberish code). It wouldn’t be crazy if it does this as long as I have a way of editing what is shown in the box and as long as there are no other compatibility / functional issues seen by browsers that effect my website’s integrity.
