Indeed Confit worked without any problems until the upgrade to 5.2.4. Then the Error “Aktualisieren fehlgeschlagen” appeared. Unfortunately WordPress is not very talkative, so I tried to find out, where the problem is. I installed Error Log Monitor, Healthcheck and Error Log Viewer, but I got no entries into the log files and no hint what may have happened. So I tried it with Classic Editor – and it worked. Indeed this is not very helpful, I think, but I have no other error messages.

Plugins installed and active: Akismet, BackwPup, ChildTheme Configurator, Classiv Editor, Contact Form 7, Google Analytics for WP by MonsterInsights, Wordfence Security, WP Power Stats, Yoast SEO.
