I just had the same problem restoring a site or importing. Tried latest version or went back to 6.64 and with different files ranging from 90m up to 290m. Would stall at some point. The solution is to install this extension called all in one file extension at https://import.wp-migration.com/ and solves everything even with the latest version 7.9. seems to work with the actual installed extension and I was able to restore a couple of versions of my web site.

I just don’t feel comfortable using this extension anymore even thought it was successful specially when u cant even restore form the saved version locally on your website. U can but have to pay extra just for this feature.

and no google was not smart enough to handle this issue, it was still in the google analytics configuration, I was not the one who found it, a seo guy found it for me

can u tell me where to change the equivalent wp subdir in the bing webmaster tool, beeing looking, can’t find it
In the google analytics, it was hidden in the config, is there an equivalent in bing, will save me a couple of hours of seraching

I had also asked a local seo guy to give me a hint on my problem, and one other change I had to make is to change the subdir into my google analytics page, the subdir was also left there

thanks, but when I went to delete the wp subdir, it had been deleted on the 21st from the website with the https://www., will try again to see if the problem is still there.

My site was registered in the webmaster tool with and without the www. , was not sure which one was needed. It had been removed from the one with the www so now I just removed the url from the one without the www.

Found the remove url menu from the index sub menu, for those who are looking for it and for future references, did not see it before.

Ok, I think you meant at the end of the file, not end of line lol my bad

if you go to a normal page you should see that you are connected on the upper right corner and then click on those to see the admin panel, otherwise if go to the admin panel directly, crashes and see error

I can log out but the thing gives me an error don’t know how to revert to previous version .17 without scrapping the whole database and files.

same here admin directly is broken same as sitemap xml file beeing generated from site is no longer valid
but from indirect access I can still access the site
