I understood the reply and you probably would have suggested it if was possible. BUT, is it possible to have a URL that loads the page with table, with the search term and shows the results upon table load?

i.e. https://www.domain.com/table-on-this-page/search?aliens

If that was possible I could then allow users to click from an index and search what they’re seeking after browsing a list and clicking on a key phrase.

Do you have any experience of the hidden column text, that is present in code but not on page, throwing up any search engine penalties? For instance, I’m about to include contents from within 400 packages as a list, which can be seen in the html and therefore probably by search engines as well. I could block the page, but that defeats the objective of the actual page.

Sorry I had a shortcode extension in as well for hide columns and previous to that had it hid, before unhiding it earlier. It works now. Thanks a lot.

No, I did try it both ways and put this in Custom Commands field

“aoColumnDefs”: [ { “bVisible”: false, “aTargets”: [ 4 ] } ]

There are five columns and I entered the number 4. The search and entries disappear. Please click the link and you will see.

Well it still works as long as I save the final edit in text. However would be nice if wordpress correct what they changed as it worked before 3.9. I’ll ask my developer if there’s another way to enact the open window on click as well as bookmark but I shouldn’t be needing to change anything.

Thanks for the advice but easier said than done, I write in visual and add images in visual and add the code and html in text. It’s not a plugin, it’s their last update that did it.

WordPress created the problem, they should now fix it please and put it back to how it was. What if I enclose the script in some other commands, does that work?

The script worked fine before the last update.

Great theme but the images are a big problem when you have a product and not a wallpaper type image. How do we change the image size on the main page to reflect the exact dimensions of the featured image please? A rectangle is a nice idea but not always possible when dealing with products and white space.

Great plugin but ditto, doesn’t work on mobile phones. Would be great if it was able to please.
