The second tag is a trick to hidden the content of spoiler. This tag have a display:none attribute in CSS because the text was showed in some miliseconds before hidden by javascript.

hmmm, something strange occured here… the plugin css was loaded after your own css.

Can you try to add span.spoiler{} insted of .spoiler{} in you css file?
