Thanks Keith for your help. I couldn’t get that to work for me but I sussed how to do it in Pages > Edit Page. Entering the SEO Title had auto populated the page title field for me so I just overtyped it with Home! It worked! So simple, but thanks very much for your help.

OK. I was just surprised to see them listed on Google, that’s all. Makes perfect sense though.

When you search, no. 10 on the google entry is:

‘WordPress ? Support ? My website is indexed by Google but shows …’

There were more, so I guess this means they do just disappear.

Also, entry no. 3 lists a page with an old telephone no. but when you click on it it goes to the current page.

Entry no. 6 shows my site when it was https://www.susierichards.com.

These are not pages I want to show!

I did notice that the other day when I looked at it on a larger screen….So far I have only worked on the site on my laptop with a smaller screen so you don’t see further down the page. Thanks, will address that!

Wow, Firebug is ace!

I’ve managed to fix it but only by going into the html and manually changing the font. Not sure why it wouldn’t work when I had assigned p tags as an element that I wanted to be affected by the font change.

Guess it doesn’t matter, it works!!

I’ve increased the gap by a couple of lines but it still doesn’t change the font. What am i hoping to see in Firebug that may fix it?

I have changed the font for all H1,H2,H3 etc and body text but the line of text underneath the slideshow does not change.

Looking in the source code I see that this line of text is in a
</div><!–#slideshow-wrapper–>?class:

</div><!–#slideshow-wrapper–>?????</span><span style=”font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 24px;”><span style=”color: #cccccc;”><span style=”font-family: verdana,geneva;”>Welcome to etc. etc.

So this is why the font setting changes I have made are not working. I would like to separate this line of text so that it is nothing to do with the portfolio slideshow and is just regular body text.

I love your plugin, tried out loads but yours was simple to use and did exactly what I was after! Thank you!

The only thing that puzzles me is I have entered a line of text just after the [portfolio_slideshow} shortcode and the text is being treated as a slideshow wrapper. My site is at https://www.colourpopdesign.com

This means I can’t change the styling of this text. Is there some other code I need to add after [portfolio_slideshow} to separate out any text entries after it so that is becomes just normal body text?

Hi mmasb, can you tell me how you got it to work? I’m having the same trouble adding 3 images in 3 columns underneath the slideshow.

Also, I’ve added a line of text under the slideshow but it makes it part of a slideshow wrapper which means I can’t change the styling of the text as it’s not included as body text.

Thanks Esmi for replying. I’m using the portfolio slideshow plugin, does this not mean that the problem is more related to the plugin rather than the theme? Are they not compatible for using images elsewhere on a page when you use the slideshow plugin?

Also, any problems I have had before using this theme I have posted on this forum and have had very helpful answers to. Are you saying that since I am using the theme Modularity Lite, I shoudl not post questions on this forum?
