The ‘id’ attribute should always match what the original CF7 shortcode was, but the ‘html_id’ attribute can definitely be different, and indeed should.
The html_id is what Leadin uses to identify the form submissions, so making this unique for each form would ensure they are all separated inside Leadin itself. I hope this helps!
Hi TZAL, the following link should do the trick: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge/how-to-add-css-selectors-to-contact-form-7-forms
Let me know if I can clarify anything.

In reply to: [HubSpot - CRM, Email Marketing, Live Chat, Forms & Analytics] Great pluginAt the moment I’m afraid we don’t have a concrete timeline around when Zapier will be possible but I can definitely keep you posted as we have news on it. In the meantime I’m afraid there is no current workaround besides manually exporting the contacts from Leadin (as outlined here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge/how-do-i-export-my-contacts) and importing them into Sendy.
As we have news I’ll keep you posted ??

In reply to: [HubSpot - CRM, Email Marketing, Live Chat, Forms & Analytics] mobile cssHi there,
At the moment it is not possible to change the CSS of the Leadin popup form from within Leadin itself however if you are comfortable writing CSS and adding it directly to the stylesheets of your website then it is possible to change the styling of the Leadin popup form as much as needed by targeting the CSS selector .leadinModal and overwriting the included CSS.
I hope this helps, if there is anything I can clarify definitely let me know.

In reply to: [HubSpot - CRM, Email Marketing, Live Chat, Forms & Analytics] Great pluginHi there, thanks for your review!
There’s a few ways we’re thinking about building these types of integrations, one of them is to build unique integrations for each providers however this is unfortunately quite slow to achieve due to the different implementations for each provider. Once of the ways we’re hoping to address a faster, more blanket coverage of providers is to provide a Zapier integration for Leadin in the future. Is it possible that this would provide the level of functionality you’re looking for? It appears that, with Zapier’s MySQL tools it is possible to connect Sendy to many other apps via Zapier.
Any feedback you can provide is very helpful ??
Thanks,
ShayThanks for keeping me posted. We did some digging on this and it appears that the leadin.com domain which is used for some of the resources of the Leadin plugin, was recently added to some ad-block lists and this is what’s caused the error you’re seeing. We’re working with these ad-listing providers to try and prevent this from happening.
Wanted to double check regarding the MailChimp issue you were seeing, were you able to get to the bottom of what caused that specific contact not to get the welcome email? If not definitely shoot me a mail to [email protected] and we can do some digging on our side to establish what may have happened.
Hope you have a good weekend!
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. Not 100% sure just yet why you’d be seeing issues like this but I’m confident we can definitely get to the bottom of it. ?Regarding the blank pages inside the WordPress plugin for one of your sites, can you confirm if you are seeing the same behaviour in Leadin in other WordPress sites or is it only the one?
If it is the same across multiple sites it’s most likely that this is being caused by an extension in the browser, possibly an ad-blocking extension that is preventing Leadin from loading. If it’s the case that it is only occurring in one WordPress site but not others it’s more likely that it is being caused by a conflict with another plugin inside that specific WordPress site that is not present in others. Either way we can definitely get to the bottom of it.
Would it be possible to shoot me an email to [email protected] as a follow up? In order to confirm exactly what is causing this (and what may have prevented your most recent contact to not receive a MailChimp email) I’ll need to confirm some details that may be better communicated via email rather than via the WordPress forum.
Thanks,
ShayThanks for confirming, we’ll do some digging on our side to see if SSL may have anything to do with it. If you do see any further issues definitely let me know, the best way to reach out would be through our site here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge
Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out ewerkstatt, based on what you’ve described it sounds like this may have been caused by an ad-blocking extension on Chrome that was preventing the Leadin signup from loading. This may have caused an issue loading signup specifically, rather than the entire Leadin plugin, which would explain why you’re not seeing an issue now. If possible would you be able to confirm if you are using any ad-blocking (or similar) plugins inside Chrome?
Thanks,

In reply to: [HubSpot - CRM, Email Marketing, Live Chat, Forms & Analytics] Groups?Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out! At the moment it is not possible to add a non-Leadin form to the Leadin popup modal however once installed Leadin has the ability to capture submissions on almost all existing forms on your site including MailChimp forms, more on that here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge/can-leadin-capture-submissions-on-my-form
For all other forms (non-MailChimp) it is possible to connect the forms inside Leadin Contacts directly to lists inside MailChimp, however at the moment it is not possible to connect them to MailChimp Groups specifically, more here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge/how-do-i-connect-leadin-to-mailchimp
I hope this helps, if there is anything I can clarify definitely let me know.
Thanks,
ShayHi Phil,
Thanks for reaching out. Believe you’ve submitted a ticket through to us via our site but wanted to follow up here also just in case.
Taking a look into this, from my testing the only thing that would cause this issue to appear would be if one of the required Leadin entries in the wp_options database table was missing, specifically
leadin_options
. This entry in the table includes an array of different settings for Leadin, and while the setting for different role access to Leadin has not been implemented yet, thisleadin_options
entry should still exist. Not 100% sure why it would not exist for you but if you head over to Plugins in WordPress and Deactivate and re-Activate the Leadin plugin it should add the
leadin_options
entry back into your WordPress database which will resolve this error. (You may need to delete your manual array first).Let me know if this does not resolve the issue you’re seeing and we can investigate further.
Thanks,
ShayHi Marco,
If possible could you shoot us over an email to support @ leadin.com with your website address? We can do some digging on our side and see if we can confirm what is causing these issues you’re seeing.
Thanks,
ShayThanks for getting back to me Sebastian, and for confirming. It does make sense what you’re looking to achieve. While it’s not something that we’re currently planning on implementing for Leadin, this info should already be included in the export from Leadin itself.
When you export your contacts it will include the information provided on your forms, and if there was an age field in the form there would be an age column in the export. Understandably there’s a little manual work involved to tag them but the info should be included in the export to filter on inside something like Excel.
Regardless I’ll definitely keep you posted as we have news on the ability to tag/segment contacts inside Leadin but I hope this helps in the meantime!
Thanks,
ShayHi Fastmover,
My apologies for your experience here, hopefully it might make more sense as to why we do this if I shine a little light on it. This newest version of Leadin is a complete rebuild of the tool to provide a cloud-based account for your Leadin data rather than storing the information inside the WordPress MySQL database as the plugin once did. In order for you to sign up for a cloud account with Leadin an email address is needed to both tie the account to but also to accept our terms of service for this account. Unfortunately we are unable to offer this version of Leadin without providing an email address.
To explain, we rebuilt Leadin to be cloud based in order to provide a more secure and scalable version of the tool. Our MySQL based version caused considerable pain for users as they began to get more and more visitors to their site. As Leadin stored more information in their database it caused their site to slow down. On top of this a number of our users experienced issues losing their Leadin data as other backup and security plugins would drop the Leadin tables from the database. These are some of the main reasons why this newest version is cloud-based rather than locally stored.
If you did want to use Leadin without providing an email address we do have a ‘snapshot’ version of Leadin prior to our cloud-based update which we call LeadOut. This version is our PHP-MySQL based plugin and does not require an email address to use, however it is a much older version of Leadin and does not include some of our newer features, performance improvements or bug fixes as it is an unsupported version of Leadin. If you wanted to learn a little more about this version of Leadin check out our guide here: https://leadin.hubspot.com/knowledge/how-to-install-leadout There is a step during setup which asks for an email address (to send submission notification emails to) but you can leave this blank.
I hope this helps, please let me know if there is anything I can clarify or if you have any follow up questions.
Best,
ShayHi Sebastian,
At the moment I’m afraid this type of segmentation is not quite possible from within Leadin but I’ll definitely bring this feedback to my team. To confirm, what are you currently using for your Marketing Automation? Want to confirm if it’s possible that we’ll integrate with them in the future.
Thanks,
Shay
