Discovered a problem on my site that was retaining it. All is well now. Will even use this again.

I’ve discovered what the problem is. When I click on the button to add a network, nothing happens. It indicate a URL of /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=NextScripts_SNAP.php# According to the video on you site, it should produce a pop-up/lightbox so I may proceed. It doesn’t. I have tried IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari, with the same results.

I don’t know where the problem lies, but in the event there is no other way, is there any way for me to call the appropriate URLs directly so I can add the networks I need?

In the settings tab, there is no way to configure which social networks I want to use. I’m assuming that is in the “Your Social Networks”, tab, which is the one I cannot view below that button, and thus cannot configure them.

I found the conflict. It was Jetpak. I wish it had been any other plugin but that.

I’m using Weaver II Pro. Hadn’t thought it was the theme because until 2 days ago it worked with both the theme and the Comments Evolved plugin, as well.

So, what happens if you use those permissions while you are configure it and then set them back as you prefer? I’ve tried this, and it appears to work. Of course, if anyone has any reasons this could be a problem, I’d like to hear about it.

For clarification, I am talking only about the plugin. The code on your website works quite well in a widget, but I’d like to have something available per post as the plugin can provide.

Obviously, any application that posts to Facebook, has to have permission to do so.

More puzzling, is how this topic got marked, “resolved”. If anyone thinks a Facebook Account section that only says “Get started”, but displays no options, means anything was resolved, has a bit of a problem. I certainly didn’t mark this matter resolved, but it really doesn’t matter, since I found another plugin that does the job for me.

I just thought I’d add another bit of information. The problem only appears when Jetpack is active. If it is deactivated, the problem never occurs.

It looks attractive and the use of Google Translate is a good idea.

You are so right. I just checked the base url and the cert. appears to be the problem.

I’ll mark this one as resolved, even though I know Google won’t fix it for a while.

I took a different path, but solved the problem. I changed to a premium theme which had features that made several of my plugins redundant. I deactivated those plugins and deleted them. No more problem!

That appears to be an HTTP 500 error. By any chance, did you back your site up before updating?

You are absolutely right. For whatever reason, I didn’t look in Jetpack. All fixed. I’ll wait for a Jetpack update before trying it again.
