when you exceed the minimum content length, read more is shown

add some more content or try using more tag in wordpress in wp editor

You can try adding the read more link manually using get permalink function

Probably your site is compromised for some reason or someone who knows the password of Cpanel has changed it

Login to your Cpanel , go to phpmyadmin and select wp users table

locate your username and change password and set the user status to 0

for this you need to remove the excerpt tag from featured query or you can simple add <—more—-> tag to make it ignore

might be an issue with host or htacess or permissions ..have you done any thing recently ? if not try re installing WordPress from dashboard .. if problem appears again you need to contact your hosting provider
