Please make sure you have activated required tools from addthis dashboard after clicking the “Big Blue Button”. From here you can select the position to appear the tool in your site.

Are you using the same addthis profile id for your devlopment site and in the production? If not please make sure you have activated required tools from addthis site dashboard. It would be helpful if you can provide your site url for further debugging.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the plugin update. You can use the same addthis profile id for multiple sites. So that you can configure the button positioning from single point(AddThis site Dashboard), if all sites are having identical configuration.

Yes, you are right. They will only be shares that occurred through our tools, as we don’t import the share counts from each respective service into our analytics API endpoint.

We know your audience. The share buttons appearing on your site will vary according to your site visitors. For example if a user most often active with facebook sharing, that button will be given priority. And more things to increase traffic. I think you are still using the plugin with old settings(configuration from the wp admin page, instead of addthis site dashboard.) We are planning to deprecate this in our future updates.

Since its a paid wordpress theme, we cannot verify the compatibility with our plugin. It generally works on all standard wordpress themes. If your site is not running on wordpress, you can manually add the addthis widgets by registering to our site(https://www.addthis.com).

Are you still using the old settings(customization of button from wp admin page)? Or have you upgraded to latest plugin(Settings page contains big blue button)?

If you are using upgraded version, you need to activate the required tools from AddThis site dashboard. Else could you please share your site url?

We are only intended to configure the addThis tools from our site with the latest release. The services like sidebar, share buttons, native share buttons, welcome bar, newsletter, recommended contents etc are still free of cost.

We have checked the sidebar with twentyeleven theme in our local environment. Unfortunately we cannot reproduce the issue. The sidebar is showing on all the pages as expected. Since the plugin has been deactivated in your site, we cannot debug it further.
