Yes, the plugin works with PHP 7. Make sure you have the latest version of the plugin installed.

@kocsisagica I see that you are using the Autoptimize plugin, and you’ve probably enabled the ‘Optimize JavaScript Code’ option. You can either disable this option, or to have this option enabled and still have the refresh functionality work, click ‘Show advanced settings’ in the Autoptimize settings page and add quotes-collection.js to the ‘Exclude scripts from Autoptimize’ field. Note that you have to comma separate the list of items in this field, so add a comma in front of the additional entry, for example it should be like what’s below.

Thanks for the feedback. I would consider an option to have a flexible auto refresh period depending on the size of the quote.

Both ‘Author’ and ‘Source’ fields still support the anchor tag with href and title attributes. Other tags would be escaped.

Please upgrade to the latest version of the Quotes Collection plugin (2.0.10) and let me know if it fixes the problem.

The way the current version of the plugin works, and the way JS is coded for this plugin, we can’t have both auto-refresh and the ‘next’ link at the same time. Contact me via email if you want a custom solution.

Go to your widget settings (via Appearance->Widgets or Customize->Widgets) find your ‘Random Quote’ widget, and uncheck the ‘Refresh feature’.

It’s probably something to do with your particular installation, a conflict with the theme or some plugin you are using…. I need to look at the inside and see it for myself in order to find out the cause of the problem. Contact me at this email address: [email protected]

If you don’t want the second level pages at all and only want to display the first level pages, uncheck the ‘Show sub-pages’ option.

If you want the second level pages of all other pages to appear when the parent pages are on, but not those of “N?yttelyt 2017” and “Tuloksia ulkomailta 2017”, you can simply select these second level pages (Lahti INT 26.3.2017, Vaasa INT 9.4.2017, Imatra INT 16.4.2017, Tallinna 11-12.3.2017, 25.3.2017 Narva) for the ‘Exclude pages’ option.
