As far as I’ve checked, the latest version of the plugin works in the latest version of WordPress just fine. Please provide details of your site and the widget settings for me to help you any further.

If you turn on ‘auto refresh’, the widget refreshes of a fixed number of times and then stops. This is an in-built feature to make sure some unclosed browser with your website on doesn’t keep refreshing the quote endlessly and unnecessarily sucking your server bandwidth.

You can however control the number of iterations before the refresh stops by going to the Quotes Collection -> Options in your wp-admin and changing the second option.

Can you provide a link to the page where you use the shortcodes so that I can check?

In order to have an image for each quote and also have unique page for each quote, and also have different categories, we need to use Custom Post Types, which is not supported by the current version of the plugin.

Try putting this CSS in quotes-collection.css or style.css of your theme or any custom CSS option provided by your theme or a plugin.

You might have to change/add some CSS to offset the extra spacing that could be generated by your theme’s CSS. If you can provide a link to your website I would be able to suggest something.

You can put this code in quotes-collection.css file, but I would recommend you put this in a ‘Custom CSS’ option provided by your theme, or if not by a plugin like Jetpack to ensure you don’t have to change the file on every update.
