I have the same problem, but privacy seems to work once a public page was selected (I use my contact page). I like the idea of selecting a public page; though I would prefer if it still works even without doing so. Otherwise, great plugin!

I have the same problem, I am using WP 3.2.1 in network mode. Has there been any solution to that so far?

I experience the same problem, using WP 3.2.1 ?? I know it works with shortcodes, but it would be great if it would work directly from the editor. I hope there will be a fix soon.

I just downloaded and installed your plugin, great work ?? I have a problem though. When I try to add a custom image for the slider (from within the post, I want to use the Smoke Theme) I can see all images displayed, but I am not able to select any. Is there a trick to do that?
I am using WP 3.2.1 and the Roots Theme, though I do not think the theme should have anything to do with it. I uploaded a couple of example images through the Media library. Any idea?

I would like to exclude all tags that are part of a certain category

For me the problem was fixed by checking my database tables (especially the user meta one) for entries that come from deleted plugins. After deleting those, everything worked ok again. That is the preferred option I would say, instead of modifying core files. I briefly described it here:

Works for me, thanks a lot! I simply added it to the function.php and it works ok in the archive pages without that I needed to change the template (I just use the usual post query routine).

I have the same problem, I deactivated my plugins etc, but no luck. I recently upgraded to WP 3.1.2, not sure if that is the problem? I do not remember having that problem before, but I usually do not edit user profiles.
I noticed that problem first when implementing a frontend user profile page with the s2member plugin. But as this problem happens even when updating member profiles in the admin area I assume this is a WP glitch.
Any suggestions?

I had a similar issue and I tracked it down to the MagicMembers plugin. This plugin uses jQueryUI, and by default version 1.7.3. After changing to version 1.8.2 it worked fine ??

thanks a lot for your fast reply and your offer to help, that is much appreciated. However I am glad to share with you that 1) Cloudflare caused the problem and 2) the support guys from Cloudflare solved the problem right away (their support, on my opinion, is superb!).
The solution to the problem was to switch off two Beta features in the settings, which were minifying CSS and JS, as well as asynchronously loading Javascripts. After that was done, the Calendar Plugin works just fine.

Update on Viglinks script: I confirmed that it is posted on each site through Cloudflare, but I managed to switch it off, though this did not help.
I switched off ALL plugins except the calendar, but still it does not work ??

I start to suspect that this problem is caused by using the CDN Cloudflare. It installs a script through Viglinks, which is located at the HTML header top. Other sites I am running, as well as my localhost test sites do not show this script and there the calender works just fine. I will send a help request to Cloudflare to see if they know about similar cases.

I am using also WP 3.1 and I cannot get the calendar to work at all. On top of its page appears a message box saying “undefinedundefined” and that is it; no calender or dates visible at all. I suspect a problem with another plugin, but I did not find anything so far ??

I had the same issue, I could not access the WordPress backend anymore. Instead it showed Internal Server Error 500.

I could fix the problem by downloading and opening the .htaccess file and removing the # sign on its first option called “Options +FollowSymlinks”, hence enabling it.
According to the help text above it (which was really helpful, thanks a lot to the BulletProof Developer to take the time to write it down), usually this is not required if the host has it enabled. Seems my host did not enable it ??

After saving and uploading the file again via FTP it worked ok again.
