In reply to: [iiRe Social Lite] database errorTim… please take al ook at iiRe Social and not Social Lite… two different plugins

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] WordPress database error Duplicate entryThanks for your feedback… I’ll try changing the insert to replace. The main issue is adding additional plugin parameters (the effects) without destroying the other saved parameters.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] WordPress database error Duplicate entryThe inserts for sc-effect and widget_effect on only on an initial upgrade from a prior version (less than 1.6.0) and so far seem to be working fine on a new and existing plugin install from the www.ads-software.com site.
So far, I haven’t been able to replicate the database errors. It’s possible the install failed at some point and didn’t reset the version number.
You could possibly uninstall what you have, install a prior version ( 1.5.x), deactivate (this will remove everything), the install a fresh version of 1.6.0

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] WordPress database error Duplicate entryUninstalling should completely delete the table that saves all the plugin settings. Deactivation retains the settings. The upgrade from from versions add the two settings if they do not exist.
Try completely uninstalling.. I’ll see if there’s an issue updating on the current version.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Lite] Great OptionSorry, the icons for the lite version was just the basic most popular social networks.
There is a full version (iiRe Social Icons) that has Linked In option.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] Cool and great idea but buggy as heckAnytime anyone has ever asked for help, I have offered it at no charge. You seem to have a problem with asking for any so we could possible figure out the issue might be.
Apparently your the expert and I am not, so use it or don’t use it, it’s your choice.
When you flame someone on this site, at least get your facts straight.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] Cool and great idea but buggy as heckI did offer to take a look at your site to see where the issue might be, but you never responded. so it’s obvious there’s no helping out.
BTW, Facebook, Twitter, and 20 other icons are all fully functional and require no registration.
I’m sorry that you think the plugin sucks, but I guess the 11,000 other people with functional versions would have to disagree.
Yes… you are good as long are the are not indentical IDs or classes! Glad I was able to help you out… I will mark this as resolved.
The plugin seems to be sitting inside a parent DIV called ‘id=’iire-facebook’
It shouldn’t be necessary to create seperate DIV or CSS for Facebook. Is this something you added yourself? You might try renaming the id to something different or remove it completely
I believe that may be the source of the FB icons issue.
Something make have gotten corrupted during the process. It happens
Try doing a Reset, add your icons, then Save. Make any adjustments after the fact.
Also, if you are using the short code, make sure to add to your widget or theme with this method.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Lite] Html5 Validation error for href attribute on divCan you please send me (srussell dot iireproductions dot com) a link with the zip file of your changes to the plugin?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [iiRe Social Lite] Html5 Validation error for href attribute on divI can look into changing that in the next upgrade. A div is necessary since the background image is created from a sprite and float alignments.

In reply to: [iiRe Social Icons] Remove line in Widget form?If you need to just hide the horizontal rule in the footer, you can add this to the template CSS
#footer .inner hr { display:none; )
