File permissions are set to 755 for the wp-content folder. Even if I change to 777 it still doesn’t work.

max_execution_time
is set to 30 in cPanel. Hostpapa says it won’t appear in php.ini but it is set.I changed Maximum execution time for each scan stage from 10 to 15 and ran a scan which completed successfully, so I think this is resolved.
Thank you!
Thanks Peter,
FWIW I should have also mentioned that I’m using the free version of Wordfence and I have Basic Scan Options set to Limited Scan.
I made the change to Use only IPv4 to start scans and I’ll see if that fixes it.
I looked at php.ini in the root folder and there is no
max_execution_time
setting. I checked some of the sub-folders and didn’t see another instance of php.ini. I’ll contact HostPapa about that.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Not really workingThose IPs are blocked now because Wordfence stopped them and I manually blocked them. IDK which plugin runs first. Is there a way to tell?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Update error after deletingOk all steps completed. There was nothing unusual in .htaccess but there were a bunch of folders that had to be deleted. I’ll keep an eye on it. Thank you.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Update error after deletingIn the process of doing this, I found a w3-total-cache_disabled folder in wp-content/upgrade-temp-backup. Maybe my hosting company created that folder? The wp-content/upgrade folder is empty.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Update error after deletingHi Marko. Thanks for your reply. I deactivated it and deleted it. I just checked via FTP and it’s not in my plugins directory. I do see some of the other folders that you mentioned though. I’ll follow your instructions and see what happens.

In reply to: Changing the login.php file nameThanks. I already have a plugin and it works fine. I was just wondering if it could be done without a plugin.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Worked for about 5 minutesGreat thanks. I will mark this resolved. I’ll leave my other post about the nonce error marked unresolved for now.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Worked for about 5 minutesIt’s possible that I was being automatically blacklisted for logging in too many times.

Please try it. If you’re not in the US it should block you. If you are in the US it should work.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] Worked for about 5 minutesI whitelisted my IP address and now it seems to be working, although I still get the message “Sorry, your nonce did not verify” whenever I try to make changes.
