Yes i have done that – i followed the instructions completely as best I could understand them

On Single Page Options I see the single page shortcode that is generated automatically: [abcf-staff-single id=”485″]
In the Single Page URL i have

/profile/

Single page text link: show link “yes”
Link Text says “View Full Bio”

Open in new tab or window is unchecked.

You are right – it does work! That is progress.

The reason I didn’t think it was working is that the directory (list page) link is still pointing to the non-pretty URL link:

But if the link on the list page isn’t supposed to change then that is fine. I can use the other nicer link when manually placing the link to the page from other pages.

That did not work either. I am running the most recent version of the plugin and most recent version of wordpress.

Has there been any resolution to this? This just happened to me as well. I didn’t see a recommended fix.

I also switched themes to no avail. No products will show up in categories and i can’t view a product page at all.

doh! that fixed it. don’t know why i even had that switch in the shortcode. must have just copied and pasted it from somewhere.

that page is just a regular page with this short code on it:

[pdb_list template=detailed list_limit=25 fields=”presentation_date, presentation_time, presentation_title, author, ppt_file, pdf_file” orderby=”presentation_date, presentation_time”]

ppt_file and pdf_file are fields with marked as “file” type.

Just the file name – no link.

I have figured out how to remove the category navigation, but now I would like to have the product pages and the category pages use the custom menus from wordpress. I have been having trouble with navigation because there is no real way to manage categories and subcategories but i created a custom menu that organizes it like i want. So being able to pull in the custom menu on the plug in pages would be a great solution.

Here is the link to what I am trying to accomplish.

This is the hard coded landing page for the product categories using the custom menu. Once you go to a category there is no custom menu on it because its not a page i can “edit” in the editor to add a side bar. How could i do this?
