With the shortcode, is it possible to edit this to redirect to the default woocommerce checkout page rather than the donation checkout? That would solve this problem of being able to remove other items from the cart.

And pardon my ignorance if I’m off-base here.

With that comment, I realized that the issue was and I’m posting it below to help anyone else.

There is a setting in Astra called “distraction free checkout” and it’s being triggered by this Donation plugin. Once I disabled that, all is well.
