AHA! I knew I was missing something! I copied that file into my functions.php and made the suggested changes, but I didn’t see any change on the page.

Now I understand. For any permanent changes like these, I will need to replicate customizr’s file structure in my child theme; so now when it loads the functions, it will read the /parts directory in my child theme first. Brilliant.

I’m sorry I didn’t start an individual post, but I will next time. Thanks so much for your help.

I have a child theme, and I want to change the entry-meta to read:

“Article posted in [category] on [date]”

Could you direct me to or walk me through how to do this?

First, thank you @esmi. I’ve read many of your responses in my research, and I appreciate the time you put into responding to these issues.

I reset the plugins folder by FTP. While it was named plugins.hold, I uploaded a new image, all issues are resolved.

I created a new plugins folder (and kept plugins.hold) to reactivate each plug in one by one. The issues resumed after reactivating SP Client Document & Project Manager. I plan to contact the developers of the plugin to see if I can find and fix what is causing the problem.

I did not attempt to re-upload all files & folders. Please let me know if I should still complete this step.

I would like to keep this topic open until I am able to update whether or not I find a fix with the plugin developers.

Won’t these be lost if/when you update your theme?

I don’t know how to write page-specific CSS code. Could you give me an idea of what that looks like? Would that go in the custom CSS box?

Are you meaning the name of the page that I want to hide it on? The name in the permalink is /under-construction/

In answer to your question: Yes, I’m using a child theme. I’ve managed to accomplish a lot by just following instructions in FAQ and documentation on the developer’s website.

That’s a good idea. Certain aspects of the website are going to be “under construction” until I figure out how to do it. So creating it as a template is a much better idea than what I’m currently doing.

Can you direct me to a link that outlines how to create a new template file?

Just one page. It’s going to be utilized as an “under construction” page, which I’ve created an image for. It’ll be the only page that I want to remove the page title. I did leave it blank, but I don’t like the space.
