Found a work around.
Can you please, in WAY MORE detail explain what a solution would be at this moment. My website has already been down for 15 hours….
My website is returning the same error. How long do you think this will take to fix? And even with an updated plugin, how can I install it? Every webpage is returning this error, on the front end and the back end of the site.
Thank you for your help!! Very much appreciated
The machine that I use in a Mac run on OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.3. However, the website is hosted on a Windows server.
It says it is Enabled. I’ve tried changing it to Learning and when I do a box appears that says the changes have been saved. So I navigated off the plugin page and went back to the actual wordpress page to try and update it. The same error happened again. Then i went back to the Firewall page and it had reverted back to Enabled.

In reply to: [Maintenance Mode by Supsystic] Maintenance Mode MissingHi,
Sorry for the late response, I have been out of the office. but this is what I’m referring to:
From Plugin Description page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/coming-soon-by-supsystic/
“Under Construction Mode
Any startup can benefit from setting up a coming soon page as early as possible. But the other way is to setup Under Construction Mode on your website. With UnderConstruction or Maintenance mode turned on, only you can see your site when you are logged in to WordPress as an Administrator. All other visitors will see the message you enter in the box seen above, usually telling visitors to come back after Under Construction Mode will turn off. There’re options to remove Under Construction and Maintenance modes not only for Administrators but for other user roles or special URLs. That options is also available when you setup Coming Soon or Launch page.”
This whole section in the description part of the plugin is what I was referring to. Once the plugin is installed there is no way option for maintenance mode. Specifically I needed the functionality for “specific URLs” and it was nowhere to be found.
